Ninja Division Set The Stage For Way Of The Fighter On Kickstarter

It looks like Ninja Division are going to be back on Kickstarter soon with Way Of The Fighter which will be their take on a tabletop fighting game using elements from video games like Street Fighter and beyond.
The roster above shows them working on ten fighters for this game and I'm sure there are going to be more as the Kickstarter gets ready for launch. Two of them have been shown off already with Jun...
...and Ren already gearing up for a scrap.
There have been attempts at fighting games on the tabletop before with Flash Duel being one of the best I've had the chance to play.
There will be NO miniatures involved in this project instead looking to both dice and cards to show off the action on the tabletop.
What do you think of this as a prospect for your collection?

No miniatures….probably not for me then. Sounds like it will appeal to card dueling anime fans though. The world is swimming in them. 😀
they might end up doing some collectors pieces at some stage , i’m sure they have done that before.
I don’t know much about card games to have any idea how it will hold up gameplay wise.
I will be relying on more informed members of beasts of war for that.
but I bet the art will be cool.
As huge fan of fighting games this seems interesting to me.
