Workhouse Games' The Awful Orphanage has pushed through to the end of Kickstarter and has just over a day left on the campaign if you want to get involved. Don't wait any longer!

The game sees you playing as a bunch of unfortunate orphans, running around the randomly designed orphanage in search of the items that you need in order to overcome Miss Prendergast and put an end to her schemes. As well as including the original competitive mode in the game they've also chucked in Solo and Co-Op as well for everyone to enjoy.

The game features wonderful looking miniatures for all of the different characters. All of the tiles are modular meaning that no two games are going to have the same layout, adding to the challenge and replay value for the game. As well as the base game the team have unlocked some awesome stretch goals adding in new orphans to explore the game with.

Add-Ons

I really liked their Add-Ons as well, which were done thanks to feedback and help from the community. For example, they have added an option for you to get an additional set of their miniatures.

There is also The Orphan's Toolkit which gives you some additional gaming aids for your characters.

You can even turn things on its head and get The Orphanage Awakes which has you playing as Miss Prendergast and the dark denizens of The Awful Orphanage.
