Tournament time this weekend, and while I won’t have the army finished there’s a reasonable amount of paint on everything. But there was something missing…
So I’ve added grass, tufts and leaves for a bit of an autumn feel. There’s a little yellow flock in there too to reinforce the autumn colours. The leaves are (I believe) from a birch tree.

Not specifically, but I’ll see if I can put something together. It’s a version of the “bark and branch” bases that James Wappel does, he has a few articles on his web site and a couple of Facebook live streams showing off the technique. The guy is amazing.
