MH-6 Little Conversion
Paper Craft Time!
Before I start to cut anything out of the plastic card, I decided to use some card and blutack to make a template and fit and see the benches to the side of the Helo.
The bench is 10mm x 40mm and the two ‘L’ shaped brackets are approx. 10mm x 10mm. They are fitted together some the ‘L’ hangs over and a slit is cut into the bench and it is fitted to near the lower edge.
Now to fit the brackets and the benches on the hull to see how they look. I made sure that the bench hangs lower than the door for the pilots. I think for a mock-up they look ok and will work better once I make the final versions out of the plastic card.
The final versions of the bench and bracket will be cut out of 2mm thick plastic card.
