A Mini Spring Clean

Given it’s May the 4th it’s compulsory to work on something Star Wars, so I decided to re-base 3 units of Stormtroopers I painted quite a while ago.

I originally went for a far too brown rocky affair that I was never truly happy with.

I’ve never been one for elaborate basing schemes, and today was no different ?, so I went for a simple patchy grass look using Woodland Scenics’ fine turfs. Whilst it may be a little dull to some, I’m quite happy, and it was quick.

To differentiate units on the table when they get a little close to each other I decided to add dots to the rear/side of the bases using a toothpick with the very end of the point flattened off with a knife and some Scalecolor Heavy Metal.
