Add To Your Viking Warband With V&V Shieldmaidens

V&V Miniatures has released a bunch of much-requested models for Dark Age armies. They have finished work on their Viking Shieldmaidens for use in your Viking warbands as they go raiding the coasts of Europe.

The set comes with four resin Shieldmaidens in 28mm scale which would be good for using alongside armies and warbands made for SAGA. A few of the miniatures from the collection also have alternative weapons if you choose to put away the spears and pick up the axes instead.

Clad in chainmail and with a rather badass looking warrior with a fur cloak about her shoulders, these are some seriously mean looking warriors. I like the battle-worn shields as well which have no doubt seen a lot of use against the Anglo-Saxons and Normans.
