July 31, 2023 by brennon

Wargames Atlantic has added even more files to their Atlantic Digital collection, offering up new Historical miniatures for you to 3D Print for a variety of periods. We start off with The Great War and a mascot alongside a big machine gun.

Sergeant Stubby - Wargames Atlantic

Sergeant Stubby // Wargames Atlantic

The first of the sets features Sergeant Stubby. He was the unofficial mascot of the 1-102nd Infantry Regiment during World War I. He saw action throughout eighteen months of conflict on the Western Front and found himself in seventeen battles. He managed to save his regiment from a mustard gas attack, comforted the wounded and even caught a German soldier by his pants making sure that the Americans could nab him! A great miniature for someone wanting to add some character to their World War I army.

On the other side of the conflict, we have a German Heavy Machine Gun Team.

This set comes with a variety of options for making the crew and you also then get the MG-08 Heavy Machine Gun. Whilst this has been designed for the Germans during World War I, you could also use this weapon for a variety of other forces in other conflicts too.

World War II French

Moving to World War II only slightly, we have another Heavy Machine Gun but this time for the French.

This allows you to make a French HMG Team for use in World War II but this could also be used for World War I equally as well. Much like with the German kit, you get a bunch of different poses for the crew alongside arms to choose from. The actual machine gun is also really well detailed and it looks like a lot of research has gone into bringing it to life.

Ancient Empires

Heading back in time to the Ancient period, we have some awesome sets for the Sasanian Empire and the Goths. We start with a mighty leader in the form of Ardashir I.

Ardashir I - Wargames Atlantic

Ardashir I // Wargames Atlantic

Known as Ardashir The Unifier, he was the founder of the Sasanian Persian Empire. He was able to conquer the Parthians and unified what would be modern-day Iran under his command. He gets a superb miniature here, clad in heavy armour and getting ready to charge into the heart of battle. The horse armour can then be used with regular Wargames Atlantic horses in order to complete the miniature.

Thundering forth to decimate the Roman Empire, you can also get your hands on a set of Goth Cavalry who will be howling before the gates of Rome before long.

Another solid modular set that comes with a good variety of bodies, arms, weapons and heads for you to make a band of invading barbarians. This set is designed to match their plastic horses as with the last miniature and showcase these lightly armoured but brave warriors that set a fire in the heart of Europe.

Renaissance Ottomans

Finishing things off for this bout of releases, we have the Ottoman Armoured Infantry which you can use during your Medieval wargames.

Ottoman Armoured Infantry - Wargames Atlantic

Ottoman Armoured Infantry // Wargames Atlantic

This set provides you with heavily armoured Ottoman Infantry that would have worn that distinct mix of mail and partial-plate armour. They would also use heavy shields that could take a blow or two and those wonderful helmets. Weapons-wise, you get access to axes, spears and maces plus plenty of swords to use when their other weapons have been broken or discarded.

This should allow you to make some pretty awesome infantry for use during the period 1300-1453. Make good use of these when setting up the bodyguard around your Sultan on the tabletop.

Could you be tempted by any of these 3D Printable kits from Wargames Atlantic?
