Gangfight Games Preview Their Wolfpack Beast Starter Set

Gangfight Games has been previewing some of the new models coming to their Skirmish Game System and Blackwater Gulch. Here we have a snarling Wolfpack Beast Starter Set which features a selection of howling individuals.

This set gives you a selection of different options starting with Croatoan, Shunka, Warakin and then three Halfbreed Minions who are in the midst of changing. Werewolves are creatures that I tend to think are rather hard to sculpt but I think that the team at Gangfight have done a good job here, especially amongst the changing Halfbreed Minions.
I bet that these would be a lot of fun to paint as well. The fur and fangs is a good excuse to dive into some simple techniques using basecoating, drybrushing and washes in order to make them pop. Then, you can go in and paint up their traditional cowboy outfits and of course some Native garb which will be a good excuse to try out something a bit brighter.
